Task Tracker
A full-stack to-do application with user accounts, due dates, and a REST API.
Overview
Task Tracker is a small productivity app I built to practise working across the whole stack. Users can sign up, create lists, add tasks with due dates, and mark them complete.
Features
- Email and password authentication with hashed passwords
- REST API with input validation and clear error responses
- Optimistic updates in the UI so the app feels instant
- Responsive layout that works well on phones
What I learned
Designing the API before writing any UI code saved a lot of back and forth later. I also learned how much a good loading and error state matters for how an app feels.
